As most of the others, Yvonne was having treatment with our physio for her musculoskeletal injury. During a conversation, Yvonne told Kevin that she was suffering with dizziness. As she was given with some medication, therefore we just ‘wait and see’ to observe whether it would settle.
Over a couple of weeks, Yvonne was a bit better. Without much spinning, but still felt woozy or light-headed.
Therefore, Kevin examined her and found positive signs of BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo).
If you have vertigo with the following:
– brief episodes of dizziness or vertigo
– associated with moving the head
– often when rolling in bed or getting up in the morning. Ask your GP or Physio to see if we can help!
